Exceptional care. I am from out of town and had a kidney stone blockage, after trying the prescribed procedure with sound waves and a stint for the prescribed time, the CT scan revealed the stone was still there. Due to my 8 hr trip Dr. Zadar, amazingly fit me into a very late night surgery and was able to get the very hard stone removed. If he wouldn't have done that there would be required multiple 8 hr trips. I'm forever greatfull. I couldnt have asked for kinder care in all of the interactions.Second to none!

I've had a great experience with Dr. Zafar and his team. He is very knowledgeable and explains everything in details and easy to understand. The receptionists are very friendly and they explained to me everything I needed to know about the payments (I was using my health plan for the first time) and they were also able to accommodate my appointments early in the morning because of my job. It's also very well located and easy access.

We operate our offices to meet the needs of the wide variety of patients we see. We have extended office hours, and are open Saturdays to accommodate all of our patients. We also accept most major medical insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid (Title 19). If necessary, we will work with a patient’s insurance company to get approval for a procedure.

ABOUT FAWAD ZAFAR, M.D
Fawad Zafar, M.D. has been in practice since 1985 and has been serving the Iowa community since 1996.
At King Edward Medical College he was the recipient of the “Most Distinguished Student” award and graduated at the top of his class. Upon completing his medical education, Dr. Zafar went on to pursue his urology training at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and at Ealing and Hammersmith Hospitals in England.
In 1994, he completed a Fellowship in Endourology at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. The focus of his fellow ship was in urinary and bladder stones, male and female incontinence, and male impotence.
